Project Overview
We were commissioned to install a 12,000 BTU inverter split air conditioner for a private residence in Camps Bay, one of Cape Town’s coastal suburbs. The client wanted a quiet, energy-efficient cooling solution that complemented the property’s modern interior.
Challenges
Coastal location with high salt-air exposure, requiring corrosion-resistant installation.
Limited wall space due to large glass windows and sliding doors.
Tasks Completed:
Conducted a site survey to determine the best placement for maximum cooling efficiency.
Installed an anti-corrosion treated outdoor condenser unit to withstand coastal conditions.
Mounted the indoor unit in a way that minimized impact on interior décor.
Completed electrical connections and tested system performance.
