Call-Out Fee

  • A call-out fee of R450 – R850 applies when we come to site, assess the system, and you choose not to go ahead with repairs or service.
  • The exact amount depends on your location and whether the job is domestic, commercial, or industrial.
  • If you approve the job, we may deduct this fee from the final invoice.
  • Our call out policy is outlined on our website on URL https://www.arccenter.co.za/service-policy/. The call out fee is payable where a customer decides not to proceed with job / quote after the technician’s inspection or if a customer is not unavailable at the scheduled time or site / premises not accessible at the time of appointment (within 30 minutes of scheduled time).
  • Where a delay or change in time of appointment was notified to client and client acknowledged or gave the go ahead, client shall be liable of call out fee and or assessement fee.
  • Where a comprehensice assessment is required and completed onsite; in addition to call out fee, an assessment fee maybe added on the invoice of call out.

Diagnosis & Reporting

  • Our technicians provide a professional opinion based on what is visible or detectable at the time of inspection.
  • Some issues may only become clear after further testing or as faults develop over time.
  • Our reports do not guarantee every fault will be identified, and we cannot be held responsible for new issues that arise later.

Service Warranty

  • Our service warranty covers labour only and does not cover parts.
  • Any part fitted during repairs is covered by the manufacturer’s or supplier’s warranty only.
  • Each service warranty (3–12 months, depending on the job) includes a maximum of three (3) free call-outs.
    • After this limit, normal call-out fees apply.
  • Return jobs are scheduled based on ARC Center’s existing appointments and will be combined with nearby service calls where possible.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • If you cancel after approving a job, a cancellation fee will apply (covering call-out, transport, and any supplier charges).
  • Refunds are processed within 3 business days to your registered bank account.

Privacy

  • Your contact details are used only for appointments, communication, and billing.
  • We keep your information secure and handle it according to privacy laws.
